it's funny so i'll let it like that :D besides there are no battlebacks with split screen between ship and water
That just makes the dream world more charming. I'm sure that battle will be great with an event of the how the Octupus becomes stuck on the ship and make for a memorable story scene. :)

From this image I am reminded of one of the boss battles in Final Fantasy 4 in which one of the bosses was a Octopus. Did you get inspiration from that game or did you make a different version?

i was not even thinking about that boss but now that you mention it i do remember that boss :) i guess years of playing final fantasy games stays in my mind even when not thinking about it specifically :D there is no space to put too much tentacle thought , i'll see if more can be added on screen or not
