Hey Anwynn, great stuff! Now you should start to add some atmosphere using pictures. Have you tried using pictures? I use them to add a tint lighting effect, they are super easy to add and give a great effect without much effort. You just need the right sized picture and then set up a picture event. I'll try some examples and if you like them I'll send them over with instructions on how to use them on your screen. :)

hey Alexanda :) what do you mean pictures ?  if you mean using gimp like the  title screen you gave me i'm afraid to say i don't understand how to use it. i feel helpless.

i'm trying the best i can with what i know and can use . for ghost and some specific battles i choose to add that light pillar effect when we kill them ,it's like their soul finally get to heaven. i really like this new area i'm doing with ghosts and such..i hope it will show when you'll see it by yourself , i'm not sure yet when i will do a new update on the website , i'm thinking about making stuff until it's time to leave the island and then update on the website. after this area there is at least 3 more area i want to do + the main city of the island :)

i just saw also your new post it's great :)

Don't worry, it's a really easy task to try within rpg maker, and you won't need to use an editing tool. I'll supply a few graphics to try out.

ok then :) i have no idea what this is but thank you Alexanda :)

Hey Anwynn! Take a look at this :)

This is a common picture many RPG  Makers have used in the past. It's an effect for making maps darker, more scarier, or dimly lit.

Second version

If this is too much, how about this one? It's a very similar effect to what I use in my game. As you can see it looks more foggy and adds detail in to the ground. It's my best effect. I can add a few tint variations for different types of locations to enhance them with a tint effect :)

Combined together. If you like both, this is how they would look together. It's just two pictures on screen with no scripting needed, and if you need help with getting them working I'm here to help.

Please let me know if you like them, and with your permission I'll e-mail the pictures you can use.
